Bachelor student Noortje Groenendijk joins DCRT for an internship

Noortje is a Bachelor student at the DCRT within the LUMC. Her project involves the development of personalized antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) for a rare neurodegenerative disorder called Leigh syndrome, caused by a mutation in the NDUFAF6 gene. This internship will be the final part of her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Leiden.
