Okke Faber is a Master student at the DCRT. His project aims to develop a web-accessible database of genes containing protein tandem repeats, providing a resource for identifying and prioritizing potential therapeutic targets for antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) mediated exon skipping in missense variants. Okke is currently pursuing a Master degree in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology at Leiden University, where he also obtained a Bachelor degree in Biology with a thesis on antibiotics resistance.
