Student Iris joins DCRT

My name is Iris Huitink and I am a master student Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Recently, I started my research project at the DCRT. The DCRT focuses on personalized RNA therapies for patients with very rare diseases. However, the assessment whether a patient is suitable for personalized RNA therapy is still done manually. Therefore, I will work on building a new tool called ExonCheck that facilitates assessing whether a patient’s rare variant is suitable for RNA therapy.
