Guest researchers at the DCRT

In the past month, two guest researchers visited DCRT. Dr. Julian W. März (photo on the left), a research fellow at the University of Zurich, has a keen interest in patent law, regulatory affairs & research ethics, with a focus on innovative medicines for rare diseases. He gave two lectures: Personalised Medicine: Need for a Paradigm Shift in European Patent Law and Public Funding for Individualized Therapeutics: A Review

of (Potential) Models in Europe. Seppe Hermans works at Biano GmbH in Germany and is a PhD student in the European doctoral network Medicine Made to Measure. His secondment at DCRT was aimed at learning about ASO design and development through interaction with his fellow MMM doctoral researchers and DCRT staff.
