Annemieke Aartsma-Rus is the elected DCRT chair 2022-2024

Prof. dr. Annemieke Aartsma-Rus was elected as the new chair of the DCRT for the year 2022-2024. Prof. dr. Rob Collin is chosen as the Vice-Chair. Both are very excited to see what the DCRT will accomplish in the coming two years! Annemieke is also involved in the international rare disease research consortium and highlights what they have accomplished in the last 10 years in her #apaperaday on twitter.

Dr Marlen Lauffer, a senior researcher at the Dutch Center for RNA Therapeutics, was invited to give a talk at the Genomics England research summit in London on the 9th of July. She presented DCRT's work on the identification of genes and diseases and guidelines for patient selection.
