Annemieke Aartsma-Rus was presented with the Norman Saunders Jacob's Ladder Award

Congratulations to Annemieke Aartsma-Rus for receiving the Norman Saunders Jacob’s Ladder Award at Sick Kids hospital in Toronto. This award is given to persons who have done excellent translational research in the neurology field. Annemieke is the 21st recipient of this award, that is named after the late Jacob Schwarz, a patient with Canavan Disease, and Prof Norman Saunders, the clinician who managed the care for Jacob and helped the Schwarz family set up the Jacob’s Ladder Foundation.
