New student Frederique joins DCRT

My name is Frederique Rotteveel and during my internship I will be helping Laurie Kerkhof with the screening and analysis of antisense oligonucleotides. The aim is to develop possible therapies for spinocerebellar ataxia 1 (SCA1).

I obtained my bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Amsterdam where I followed the Neurobiology minor and multiple Psychology courses. Currently I am living in Leiden where I just started my master’s degree. I am excited to be joining the DCRT team for the upcoming 5 months!
