Several members of the Dutch Center of RNA Therapeutics will attend the annual meeting of the Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society (OTS, September 26-29, virtual). The OTS is a non-profit society aiming to advance the development of oligonucleotide therapies, such as the splice modulation approaches the DCRT is pursuing.
The OTS has members from academia and industry and has a strong focus on science and the state of the art of the field is presented each year.
This year there will be a session focusing on developing therapies for very small patient groups. Furthermore, DCRT member Annemieke Aartsma-Rus is part of the organizing committee of the meeting as well as president of the OTS.
